Vinyl pools are less expensive compared to a concrete pool, and the installation process can be a bit faster. One of the cons would be you are limited to size/ shape options because the manufacturers have set sizes/ shapes. Also, the life span of a vinyl pool (before you must repair or replace the vinyl lining) is 10-20 years. If maintained properly, it can be enjoyed for a long time. Very easy to clean as the smooth surface helps limit build up of algae and dirt. Vinyl can hold up well in our harsh Canadian winters, which is a bit of a bonus. Also, if having to replace the liner, it doesn’t take a lot of time to do.
